About Me

Hi! My name is Harriette Hobson, I'm a RMIT student journalist currently in my final semester. 

I have a range of experience in the journalistic realm, including writing both hard and soft news feature stories, working with audio to produce high value podcasts and radio news stories and creating broadcast quality television packages.

I also have experience working in a newsroom, interning at ABC Ballarat.

My Experience

- Recently I completed an internship at ABC in Ballarat and had invaluable experiences including participating in press conferences, writing and drafting an article, interviewing talent and work shopping and voicing radio news stories. 

- I have extensive experience working with audio in both long and short formats. Throughout my degree I have done multiple radio packages as well as creating podcasts with technical sound design and helping produce the podcast 'Fashion Unfiltered'. These podcasts can be shared upon request due to the personal nature of them.

- Throughout university and my internship I have become confident using a wide range of technical equipment, including SFX Sony cameras, Zoom H4's, multiple different microphones and recording booths.
